The galsols are solenoid valves with direct closing diaphragms, activated by network pressure. The only moving component of the valve is the diaphragm. The flow, in its path, does not meet the shaft, the gaskets, or the bearings.
A deactivated solenoid closes the control chamber outlet. The permanent connection between upstream and the control chamber ensures the presence of pressure in the chamber, closing the valve. Activation of the solenoid causes permanent drainage downstream, opening the valve.
