In Mundoriego we have a wide variety of collars / unions for polyethylene pipes, PVC pipes or other materials through the different methods on the market.

We can find for joining accessories such as Teflon for threads, adhesives for gluing PVC pipes, lubricants for joining elastic joints in PVC pipes and their accessories, solvents for PVC pipes and hemp for threads.

The main characteristics of the adhesive for PVC pipes are:
– Special adhesive for rigid PVC pipes according to the EN14814 standard.
– High viscosity and excellent fluidity of easy application.
– It does not hang up.
– With brush included.
– The glued joints maintain the same resistance and aging properties compared to rigid PVC.
– Acts as a PVC cold chemical welder.

For its execution, you must take into account:
- Mark the length to be inserted into the mouth of the adjacent tube.
- Clean the contact surfaces of any remaining dirt with cleaning fluid.
- Apply adhesive to the female part of the tube from the inside out, being careful not to exceed the quantity. Adhesive must also be applied lengthwise to the male part.
- Align the tubes and assemble them without turning, cleaning the excess adhesive.

Teflon is an adhesive tape that is placed on the threads and union joints to prevent water leaks in pipes and stopcocks. Get the joints between pipes, stopcocks, taps, sleeves, butts, reductions or others to be watertight.

It is necessary to make several turns on the thread so that the Teflon tape is fixed and insulated.
