The Gibault PVC Union is made of GG-25 gray cast iron. The studs are in galvanized steel, bituminous paint and natural rubber gasket.

The Gibault PVC union is a very basic element, although no less effective for this, for the union of smooth ends in PVC pipes.

– They are cheap.
– They provide good sealing.
– They are capable of absorbing driving movements produced by pressure variations, expansions/contractions due to temperature changes and even small displacements caused by ground settlement.

They are made of gray cast iron, so they have greater resistance to breakage when tightening, and this prevents unpleasant surprises inside the trench.

The greater thickness of the wall of the central bushing prolongs the useful life of the joint and improves the tightness, (this is where the rubber rests).

Its extra length provides greater tolerance in the assembly and, in addition, this offers an additional guarantee against displacements of the pipe.

They are used, above all, to repair existing pipes by replacing the damaged segment with another of the same diameter, although somewhat shorter, to absorb possible expansions.

The central cap and the rings are made of GG-25 gray cast iron.
Galvanized steel studs.
The paint is bituminous.
The rubber gasket is made of natural rubber.
