TENSIOMETERS

Description of TENSIOMETERS

ISR tensiometers are vacuometer tensiometers with a threaded ceramic tip, easily replaceable in case of breakage, which measure the pressure or effort that the roots must exert to extract the water found in the soil. For its tuning you need the ES service team.

ISR model. Vacuum gauge from 0 to 100 cb. White ceramic tip.

ISR sphygmomanometers consist of the following components:
– Hermetic lid: The hermetic lid is larger in diameter to facilitate handling. To replenish the liquid level in the tube, simply loosen the cap so that the reserve liquid descends from the tank.
– Reservoir: The reservoir has sufficient capacity to achieve the correct filling of the tube throughout several irrigation cycles. Its patented design facilitates very fast and highly efficient handling.
– Hermetic vacuum gauge (0-100 cb): The hermetic vacuum gauge incorporates a special diaphragm that serves to compensate for variations in ambient temperature and barometric pressure.
– Irrometer special liquid: Its green color makes it easy to control the level of the liquid in the instrument. Specially formulated to protect the ceramic tip against the formation of fungus and the incrustation of salts.
– Totally watertight joints: During the entire life of the instrument. They do not allow air to enter the vacuum gauge, which would modify the accuracy of the readings.
– Tube: Made of a special plastic totally resistant to chemical reactions of the soil.
– Ceramic capsule: Threaded to facilitate its replacement if necessary. Specially formulated to respond instantly to variations in the level of moisture in the soil.
