INTEGRATED DRIPPER PIPE

Description of INTEGRATED DRIPPER PIPE

La pipeline with integrated dripper is an irrigation method whereby the drippers are embedded in the pipes. This integration saves time and labor in its installation. The main use of the pipes with integrated dripper is the irrigation of intensive crops, although they are also used in tree crops and greenhouses.

At Mundoriego we have two types of pipe with integrated dripper depending on the type of dripper: pipe with self-compensating dripper and pipe with turbulent dripper.

The pipe with a self-compensating dripper has a membrane that regulates the irrigation pressure and allows the flow to be uniform in all the drippers, making each plant receive the same amount of water. As the water outlet can be regulated, this type of dripper makes it possible for the branches to be lengthened as much as necessary, making it possible for there to be no pressure differences in different places in the pipeline. The self-compensating dripper is ideal for places where there is an unevenness in the ground, since in this type of plots it is necessary to use pressure so that the irrigation can reach the entire crop in a uniform way. This type of dripper can be aerial or underground (anti-siphon or anti-suction) and is presented in a cylindrical or pill shape.

Turbulent dripper tubing does not regulate flow output. Therefore, this dripper is suitable for terrain without unevenness or slopes. It has fewer advantages than the self-compensating dripper, but is therefore also cheaper. Like the self-compensating, the turbulent dripper tubing is available in cylindrical or lozenge shape.
