The single jet counters measure the flow thanks to the reading of the flow velocity.
In single jet meters there is a turbine on which the water jet hits. This turbine rotates when hit, starting a mechanism that, in turn, activates the indicator that communicates the amount of flow that has been used.
This type of meter is very common in homes, since it can handle medium-low flows.
These counters can be used both vertically and horizontally.
These devices have a magnetic clutch and may have electronic reading.
In addition, they have protection against external magnetic fields and possible damage caused by freezing water.
