AZUD HELIX AUTOMATIC 201 system performs the backwashing process alternatively to the filtering base.
FILTERING PHASE:
When the water enters the filter, it meets the propeller, causing a centrifugal helical movement that moves the particles away from the discs. Through the discs the depth filtration process is carried out.
CLEANING PHASE: The water from the network is filtered through the auxiliary filter, entering in the opposite direction through the structure of the filter element, decompressing the discs and producing the backwash. The solids expelled from the discs are evacuated through the drain outlet.
The filtering phase begins by compressing the filter discs again.
During the backwash process, no filtered flow is provided to the installation.
The passage from one phase to another is caused by the simultaneous change of position of the 2 hydraulic valves of the equipment.
