Filtration process
In filtration mode, the rings are strongly compressed both by the force of a spring and by a hydraulic pressure system, taking advantage of the filter inlet pressure itself.
The solids are retained in the filter element, making a selective capture depending on the degree of filtration selected. The water is conditioned for its use.
Backwash process
When a certain amount of dirt accumulates on the rings, the cleaning process is triggered, which activates the backwash valves, changing their position and reversing the flow direction inside the filter.
Simultaneously, the rings separate while tangential water jets give them a rapid turning movement, releasing all trapped dirt particles.
The backwash water is expelled out through the drain port.
At the end of the cleaning process, the solenoid, filter and backwash valves return to their normal filtering position.
