3.000-liter tank for drinking water storage, manufactured in a single piece by extrusion-blowing, which fully guarantees its tightness and impermeability, which have been verified through tests and the strictest quality controls.
The material in which they are manufactured is high density polyethylene: a high molecular weight copolymer specially designed for the manufacture of high capacity hollow bodies.
Aqualentz and Aquavario tanks are suitable for contact with food:
- The RIKUTEC Iberia factory in Lantarón is registered in the General Sanitary Registry.
- The Aqualentz and Aquavario tanks have the Declaration of Conformity, a mandatory document to be able to put tanks on the market for use in contact with food.
- RIKUTEC Iberia has carried out the global and specific migration tests on the processed material, which are mandatory according to current legislation, since the certificates of the raw material suppliers are not sufficient to guarantee its suitability for food use.
The design is optimized for possible battery installation, being able to make large capacity installations at a very low cost, adapting to any type of need. The green pigmentation makes them resistant to UV radiation, while being highly opaque to prevent the formation of algae inside.
The Aqualentz and Aquavario range tanks incorporate ATM (antimicrobial additive) with a new antimicrobial functionality of great importance for the sector as it reduces the risk of contamination by microorganisms compared to other tanks without this property. Antimicrobial activity has been demonstrated according to JIS Z 2801:2010, Antimicrobial products. Test for antimicrobial activity and efficacy. The results are very positive with an important antibacterial action, having also demonstrated its effectiveness against Legionella pneumophila.
It is important to bear in mind that, although the tank has this antimicrobial functionality, it is necessary to follow and comply with all the hygienic-sanitary requirements set by current legislation regarding the maintenance and cleaning of the facilities, the tanks themselves, etc. The presence of this antimicrobial therefore does not exempt the user from meeting these requirements.
The deposit has:
- Two ø400mm watertight manholes to facilitate installation, maintenance and cleaning tasks.
- Bottom outlet of 2" male brass thread for connection to a pumping system, hose or other tank.
