Ball valve central body, made of PVC, to connect with ø25mm or 3/4" couplings, with JIMTEN NBR O-ring.
Stopcock mechanism used to regulate the flow of a channeled fluid, and is characterized by the fact that the regulating mechanism located inside is in the shape of a perforated sphere.
It is opened by rotating the shaft attached to the perforated ball or sphere, in such a way that it allows the passage of fluid when the perforation is aligned with the inlet and outlet of the valve. When the valve is closed, the hole will be perpendicular to the inlet and outlet. The position of the actuation handle indicates the status of the valve (open or closed).
This type of valve does not offer a precise regulation as it is 1/4 turn. Its advantage is that the perforated ball allows direct circulation in the open position with a much lower pressure drop than the seat ones, and cuts the passage when the handle is turned 90º and closes the duct.
