Arpol union repair clamp for repairing PVC pipes, with union of 2 closures and active sealing system.
Due to their unique profile located on both sides of the joint, they are capable of supporting:
- Pressures of up to 45 bars, depending on the diameter.
- Up to 4º of angular deviation.
- Absorb irregularities in the wall of the tube, radial deformations and vibrations that may occur in the conduction.
Although they are perfectly valid for joining tubes, the most frequent use to which they are destined is the repair of pipes since, unlike Gibault or universal unions, they can be opened and placed around the pipe without having to cut or move no section of it, which allows its installation under load.
They are not designed to withstand the weight (vertical installation) or the axial displacements of the pipes, so the anchoring of the pipe must be ensured by means other than the joint itself.
