The BERMAD Model IR-100-DC is a diaphragm actuated, hydraulically operated, plastic double chamber globe control valve offered in standard oblique (Y) or angle (A) design.
The valve is made up of two main components: the body assembly and the actuator.
The actuator assembly is an integral piece that removes from the body in a single unit. It consists of an upper and a lower control chamber.
Each basic valve can be easily configured, on site, as a single chamber (Model 105) or double chamber (Model 100) valve. The axle subassembly, with center guide, provides
an unobstructed seating area.
The operation of the Model 100 Double Chamber Valve is not dependent on differential pressure across the valve. This develops maximum power and thus ensures an immediate reaction.
