GLYCERIN MANOMETERS

Description of GLYCERIN MANOMETERS

At Mundoriego we have glycerin pressure gauges, which are highly reliable and durable. Consult us for more information about this product. Mundoriego has pressure gauges to measure pressure in a drip irrigation system, sprinkler irrigation, for your farm facility.

Although there are manometers made with different materials, the most recommended are those that contain glycerin, since it has great resistance to weathering and, what is even more important, gives the device great precision in its indications.

In agricultural irrigation systems, the pressure is usually 0 to 16 bar. For this reason, the most commercialized gauges are usually in this range, mainly 0-6 bars.

A pressure gauge is an analog indicator, which is used to measure the pressure of a gas or liquid. They are analog devices with a circular dial and mechanically actuated pointer that have been in use for decades.

In many modern applications, the analog manometer is being replaced by digital manometers, with its digital display and additional features, such as incorporation of alarms and analog, digital or wireless retransmission, etc ...

Digital pressure gauges are often manufactured in a process housing bracket that is similar in size and shape to traditional analog gauges, making them interchangeable.

What they really do is compare the atmospheric pressure (the one outside, the atmosphere) with that inside the circuit through which the fluid circulates. That is why it is said that pressure gauges measure relative pressure.

Gauge pressure is the pressure relative to atmospheric pressure. This pressure is positive for pressures above atmospheric pressure, and negative for pressures below it. Absolute pressure is the sum of gauge pressure and atmospheric pressure.
