MANUAL FILTERS

Description of MANUAL FILTERS

The filters / pressure gauges / air valves Manuals are inexpensive and resistant models, which must be periodically washed manually to clean their filter element. We divide them into ring filters and mesh filters.

Manual ring filters have a series of rings with grooves. When compressed by means of a screw, these rings form a cylinder that filters the water as it passes through the grooves, preventing the larger particles from passing through the small holes. This type of filter is suitable for poor quality waters, which present both organic and inorganic particles. They are very economical since the spare parts of the rings are cheap. The manual filters with rings have different diameters from 3/4 ″ to 4 ”, and different degrees of filtration (80 mesh, 120 mesh, 140 mesh or 150 mesh).

Mesh filters filter water thanks to the use of a mesh. This mesh has small openings and if the particles are too large they will not pass through. These filters are ideal for use with waters that do not have many particles, using them mainly for substances of inorganic origin (sands). Manual mesh filters can range in diameter from 3/4 ″ to 4 ”, and different degrees of filtration (80 mesh, 120 mesh, 140 mesh or 150 mesh).
