AUTOMATIC FILTERS

Description of AUTOMATIC FILTERS

Automatic irrigation filters have the ability to self-clean. If they detect that the water pressure varies when passing through the filter exceeding certain parameters, a signal is sent and cleaning begins.

As with manual filters, there are two types of these filters: automatic filter with rings and automatic filter with mesh.

Automatic ring filters filter water in the same way as manual ring filters. These filters are made up of a set of rings compressed by a piston or solenoid valve. Continuous water seepage causes the grooves in the rings to get dirty. This is detected by the appliance and, when it exceeds a certain level, it cleans itself. They are suitable for working with large flows which can cause continuous cleaning of the filters. These filters have a 2 ”, 3” and 4 ”thread.

Automatic mesh filters have a mesh that is responsible for filtering particles, thus cleaning the flow that passes through it. These filters are self-cleaning when the system detects that the pressure drop has reached a previously established limit. Automatic mesh filters can have 4 ”, 6” or 8 ”threads.
