SPRAY / MIST

Description of SPRAY / NEBULIZATION

Sprinkler/mist systems for irrigation and temperature control. Control, locate and adjust the amount of rainfall and planting frame. You find these sprinkler/mist systems on our website.

Unlike drip irrigation , sprinkler irrigation consists of providing water to the crop by spraying the irrigation. A series of pipes carries the water to the sprinklers, which make it reach the ground in the form of small drops.

The main elements to start a sprinkler irrigation system are: a pump to provide pressure and make the irrigation flow move, a network of pipes to move the water through the land and sprinklers that distribute the water.

The sprinkler irrigation system has multiple advantages compared to a flood or drip irrigation system. It allows saving water, since being more efficient than other types of irrigation it can irrigate optimally, allowing less water consumption. By making the water reach the crop in the form of drops, it imitates the fall of rain, increasing the quality of irrigation. A sprinkler can cover a large amount of land, so sprinkler irrigation is recommended for large crops with uneven terrain. Once installed, this system can be programmed, which reduces the need for labor. In addition, sprinkler irrigation allows the soil to be treated with fertilizers and other liquid products to help the correct development of the plant.

Depending on the type of crop in which it is going to be used, we can find different types of sprinkler, such as sprinklers for gardening or agriculture. In Mundoriego we also have spray coverage networks, components for micro-spray and nebulizers.
