Fertilizer: what it is and what it is for

spreaders

Una fertilizer It is a hermetically sealed deposit that is used for irrigation. The fertilizer that will be used for any type of plant or crop is introduced into this tank.
It mainly serves to provide plants with the necessary nutrients. All types of plants require a series of nutrients to develop properly. In this way they will bloom well and bear fruit. For this reason, the substrate that we provide must be periodically enriched with fertilizers.
The needs depend on the type of plant or crop in question. Therefore, the needs of a plant that grows in a pot and another that grows directly in the ground will be completely different. We must take into account the quantities recommended by the manufacturer to supply the fertilizer in an adequate way.

Operation of a spreader

A spreader has two ducts, one for input and one for output. We will introduce the water through the inlet duct so that it mixes with the product to be applied. Once mixed with the water, it will come out through the outlet pipe to enrich the plants with the necessary nutrients.

Once the fertilizer spreader tank is empty, we must close the inlet and outlet valves and open the irrigation network valve.

When we no longer have any fertilizer or fertilizer product left to add, we close the inlet and outlet valves and fully open the irrigation network valve. We must also open the pressure relief valve so that it comes out through the ducts.

Fertilizers that you can find in Mundoriego

The fertilizer spreaders available at Mundoriego are made of polyester with fiberglass and special resins that make it resistant to attack by chemical products. They have a capacity from 25 liters, the smallest, to 180 liters, the largest.
They have 3 intakes, one for input, another for output, and a third for emptying, which must be connected to water intakes. These must be joined by a valve whose function is to create a pressure difference so that the water circulates inside the fertilizer spreader.
The water will enter through the inlet conduit to mix inside with the fertilizer, which we have previously introduced. The mixture will exit through the outlet conduit, through the upper part of the tank, to complete the process.

Maintenance tips

  1. Cleaning the fertilizer spreader in depth when we finish with the process.
