Copper pipes, for their part, have practically the same advantages as PVC pipes, although their cost is higher and for their use if it is necessary to make joints. These pipes may be preferred for drinking water supply systems since, due to their characteristics, they limit and minimize the risk of bacteria proliferation. However, PVC pipes show greater and better performance in irrigation systems where 100% of their advantages can be used, including economic savings due to their lower cost, among others.
